Hello I got the Buuschur Axle Back and it is supposed to be a quick install but I can't even move the bolts because they are so crapped up with rust and road salt.....

Help how to I get this ***** to work???

I tried with WD-40 and it still does not even move... I feels the it is welded on... crazy...

 

There is a great product called PB Blaster. It's made just for this.

Use an air ratchet and let it hammer on the bolts. If that doesn't work, use a torch and heat them up then try again.

 

The side with the square nuts is welded on. When I took my exhaust off, I put WD-40 on and let it soak in for a while. Then, when I went to remove the bolts I found the easiest way to do it was to put the wrench on the bolt and hit it rather than pry on it. The impact will usually break the bolts loose. If you try to pry it is much more difficult in my experience.

this is what works well for me.

Eat a pound of steak, take a crap, eat a protein shake w/ creatine, go to the gym, then try to remove the bolt and show it who is boss.

Or go down to your local drug dealer and buy some pcp and go ape **** on the bolt

 

Where do you get PB BLASTER? Auto zone type place?

aight.. get your car jack and put your socketwrench on the bolt.. raise the jack until it comes in contact with the wrench .. and then jack away .. you can put more psi on that bolt using the jack than you can with anything eles,,, ive done this before removing bolts to my buddy's jeep leaf springs and it worked great.. granted there was a loud snap but nothing broke...

 

PB Blaster will work, WD-40 is a lube not a penetrant so it will not.

Get the PB Blaster and you will be all set as previously mentioned. If you **** with those bolts too much (i.e. not enough initial torque) you will probably shear them off.
