Mitsu dealer ripping me off

About a month ago in i really bad snow storm here in chicago i hit a curb, with the entire right side of my car i ended up messing up my front bumber, and damaging both wheels. When i went to the mitsu dealer to have the car checked outthey carged me to check out car. I told them the main problems were that when i would first start the car and start driving that a noise was comming from the front right wheel sound that as if my something was rubbing sorta like having worn out brake pads, and that when i would push the brakes that if felt like the brake wasnt engaging fully and whould start to shake sorta like hitting the brakes too hard in the snow but then my anti lock brake would come on and it happened evertime i would start the car. Also that the steering whell whould be gin to shake more and more the faster i went. When they checked the car out they told me that there was no visible damage any thing except to the rear wheel and that it was causing the senor to act funny but thats all that they can tell. They told me when i get my a new wheel to bring the car back becasue the the code may not go away on its own and could still be there even though the new wheel is put on that was causing the problems. So last wheek i got my volks put on, but i didnt have a chance to the car in because i only come home one the weekend and i just had had all my midterms this week. when i called them to day to set up an appintment to get the flash taken care since my anti lock brake was still on, they told me that were going to have to charge me to have the anti-lock brake system checked out. When i told that you guys told me that all i would need is the flash that you told me about they responded by saying that we didnt check the anti-lock brake system, because the rear wheel was bent. when i told them what the hell does the rear wheel being bent have to do with the front wheel braking system, they reponded with well we didnt go further with anything until a new wheel was put on, even though i told them that my front brake felt like it was locking and that it even says it on my recipt i that i saidsomething was wrong with the anti lock brake comming on. I think that they didnt even bother to check the braking system last time and they didnt tell me that they didnt check my braking system. Now they want to charge me double what it cost me to check my car the first time. I ende up setting an appointment and this time i'm going th b*tch they our on why they didnt check my braking system even when i told them someting was worng with it and second why the heck they didnt tell me that they did check out the brake system. i'm so pissed right now cuz they always try to do this bs when i take my car to them.

Is there only one dealer in the area. I say try another or talk to the service manager. The guys on the phone want to charge you for everything cause they get commission on it or they get to charge it to you and not the warrantee. Good luck.

Dude...I can't even understand what your post says. Grammar, spelling, and proofreading are your friend.

[QUOTE=redevo58]About a month ago in i really bad snow storm here in

chicago. i hit a curb with the entire right side of my car i ended up messing

up my front bumber, and damaging both wheels. When i went to the mitsu

dealer to have the car checked out they charged me. I told them the main

problems - i would start driving and a noise was coming from the front right

wheel. it sounded like something was rubbing, sorta like having worn out

brake pads. and when i would push the brakes, if felt like the brake wasnt

engaging fully and would start to shake. sorta like hitting the brakes too hard

in the snow. now my anti lock brake comes on and it happens everytime i

start my car. Also my steering wheel shakes more and more the faster i drive.

When the dealer checked the car out they told me that there was no visible

damage to anything except to the rear wheel. and that it was causing the

anti lock brake to act funny. thats all that they can tell. Then they told me

when i get my a new [i think] rear wheel, to bring the car back becasue the

code may not go away on its own. So last week i got my new [wheels?] volks

put on. now i didnt have a chance to take the car. when i called them to set

up an appintment to take care of my anti lock brake [light?] being still on, they

told me that were going to have to charge me. When i told them you guys told me that all i would need is the flash that you told me about they responded by saying that we didnt check the anti-lock brake system, because the rear wheel was bent. when i told them what the hell does the rear wheel being bent have to do with the front wheel braking system, they reponded with well we didnt go further with anything until a new wheel was put on, even though i told them that my front brake felt like it was locking and that it even says it on my recipt i that i saidsomething was wrong with the anti lock brake comming on.

I think that they didnt even bother to check the braking system last time.

Now they want to charge me double what it cost me to check my car the first

time. I ended up setting an appointment, and this time i'm going to b*tch to

them on why they didnt check my braking system even when i told them

something was wrong with it. and second - why the heck they didnt tell me

that they did check out the brake system. i'm so pissed right now cuz they

always try to do this bs when i take my car to them.

GL on the Misu****sy service. all i can say is get pissed and let "EVERYONE" know that there is a problem. they will want to quiet you up and not have any problems. Feel free to yell all you want. just dont Curse or Threaten and you will be fine. What are they going to do call the police because they are giving you bad service and you are upset ?
