Lancer Shop.

I dont know if any of you feel this way, but last week I called up Lancershop and got an operator. The operator told me that Mastamind get so much calls that they had to hire a service to take orders. Thats great. When I asked a technical question on the product I was about to purchase, the operator could not answer me. She had no idea about the product, She just read off to me what we see on the website about the product. I had to call my freind who purchased the same product to get info. It was never like that before and I feel that is somewhat wrong. I have made many purchases with them before and I always had someone there to give me product info and technical advise. However she did take my name and number and said someone would get back to me in 24hrs. I dont know if you guys feel the same, but I liked how it was before.

In all honesty I want to talk to a person that knows. When I got the intercooler it was not that shiny , I was like ok. Then It was missing a couple of items form the inventory sheet. I was like okay, When I turned it around It had Damage on the bottom. Two huge dents and some of the fins were bent. On the inventory sheet its marked 9/2004. I called the 800 number Then some one got back to me in a couple of hours. I explained to the rep the situation and she put me on hold then when she got back, she told me UPS will pic up. That was it. No other info was given to me. The Intercooler is in its box in my kitchen.

Oh I thought you meant calling them about a question on a product. If I got something that I didnt like, I would like to deal with it right away also, and I would also call in that situation.

Atleast they didn't ignore you like they did to me, I ordered a triple 60mm grey a-pillar pod for my evo, it came in, opend it up, had a huge bubble on it, quality was horrible, emailed them, haven't heard from them yet.... did I mention it didn't fit!!!

Personally, I like to deal with companies that have experience with the products they are selling and actually research/develop products. This helps promote those businesses that will help evolve the tuning approach to the evolution (or any car). Companies such as (in no specific order) RRE, Vishnu, AMS, Buschur, Turbotrix, Gruppe-S, etc. These are the ones that will give knowledgeable service and information. Some companies are simply online wharehouses (possibly the cause for the shipping damage).
