hey guys introducing myself now. i have been a fan of the lancer evolution ever since i played gt3 and got my evo 5. anyway i am fairly new to the 7-9 gen because i have always modified mirages and done conversions to the evo 4-6.5tme style anyway i would like some help on the evo 8 situation. basically i know hella bout them since they are very similar to the 4-6.5 series anyway i was wondering i found a evo 8 with 14k miles (GSR) with the following mods: ARC FMIC, oil cap, radiator, intake, radiator cap, front strut bar, hks coils, works rims (not sur on tires) gialla (SP?) front bumper, upgrated IC piping anyway they wanted $26000 for the car what do you guys think the pricin is fair? i think its a great deal but the thing is that i have an 2001 audi a4 i have to sell and a 1997 mirage with evo 4 conversion and they said they would give me 10k for the a4 on trade in when its worth $17,800 and even the kbb.com said my audi is worth atleast 13k in trade in! so i am confused and dont know what to do... i think i might just pass on the car and get and evo 8 with low miles once the other cars are gone what do u guys think? oh and ps sorry its so damn long.

 

Wait..sell your other cars first. Once the evo 9 comes out im sure the evo 8 prices will go down, and you should just go buy a new one. I would never buy a used one unless I knew for a fact it was taken care of.

 

ya but then i have to pay 14k more then i want for a new one u know? and just get an evo 8 with low miles and no mods simple...
