noob with reflash question

I have the modds listed below, not alot I know but im planning on adding a 3" DP, Apexi Boost Controller prolly set at 19-20psi, and a fuel pump if nessasary.

I have read alot of threads about tuning and how it is the only way to get the true power from your mods, and its much safer. So I have searched and read a few detailed threads but nothing broad enough to answer my question.

Mail in flash vs. Tuning on Dyno...I would assume tuning on a dyno would be better, although more expensive. If it is a better option then what company in California does dynotuning?

Im sorry but they may be simple questions to you guys, but its information I need to learn more about modding my Evo. Thanks for the patience and help.

A mail in flash from Dynoflash is going to be a base map that will yield horsepower but not as much as you would get from a custom tune. A custom tune could be either on the street or the dyno.

There are lots of companies in california that do tuning. Check out Vishnu, they rule, and also offer both a flash for your car and a piggyback ECU.

On 91 octane - custom tuning is always a good idea as that gas really sucks. I will be in LA on April 2 - 5 if you want to get a custom tuned flash its $399 for the custom tune and $175 for a base flash with no tuning

the closest awd dyno to you is tuning technologies, located in colton... chris and alfred are the owners and are very, very knowledgeable, as well as very cool people...

they just finished the vishnu dyno weekend, and i got a custom xflash from shiv himself.... i am more than pleased and it was worth every penny.... give em a call... hope this helps...

thanks alot guys, I dont know if I will be ready money wise by then, but its worth the drive to check it out and gain some knowlage about the process.

And I do think a custom tune would be a better idea....I dont know why it just sits better with me and worth the money.
