Mac is different from PC... mac has only one mouse buttons and pc can have up to 8 buttons + a scroll

no comment on the reliability on both though...

also please stop the war between these two -.- we're talking about desktop pictures

OSX (mac os) is based on the Berkley Unix distro (freeBSD). Its very ('very' being an understatement) stable and secure. I personally havent used windows on my PC in a couple of years.
