What I find funny is how some people feel the need or rather feel like they have to show off how great their car is to the rest of the world. If you have a 12" snake in your pants, do you constantly have to whip it out? No, when someone starts talking **** you just sit there and smile, knowing that if his girl saw what you have, she'd start hanging around a lot more often.

Well theres the fact you posted it on a public forum for one, and mind you, thats a pretty big part of it. Then you have the gall to say we should "get a life" even though this post was about attempting to show "the man" whos boss, in an import, when they are in a luxury car. I love evos, stis, and other performance imports, but the fact remains that if you ask a model which guy they would choose, the guy in the evo or the guy in the 90K$ german luxury car, the evo will not win. I suggest you grow up, and stop this pointless showing off, over compensating for something, attitude. I have a feeling your also the guy who likes to drop the car into neutral and rev up the engine to show people who big and impressive your BOV sounds.

 

If this sounds like a personal attack, its not, its more of a rant, I'm simply tired of people posting reports of beating random cars, like thats what matters in life. I thought I would escape this mentality by not buying a honda, but apparently this is far more age related.

 

Actually yes, yes you do... we at least that's what one guy I knew used to do all the time back in high school. Teacher left the room... he ran up front and whipped it out. Quite disturbing.

Actually you dont know me and anything about me. My friends call me a ***** because I baby my evo. I love my car, and I think its 1 of a kind and I will let the world know. Yea its a 90k$ luxury car, and I got a 30k performance car, both made to do 2 very different things. Its not my fault you cant impress anyone in your es. BTW shouldnt you be posting in the Us lancer forum..?

 

Yea I opened my window and asked him where he was going to make sure it wasnt important enough for me to pass him. And BTw reading your name, evo on your ***, doesnt really sound like your a much better driver.

 

I'm aware I don't impress people in my ES, thats why I don't pull up next to BMWs and act like my car is superior, but you must be aware that the world does not share your love of your car, unfortunately car enthusiasts are in the minority, most people are far more impressed by a corvette than a skyline, or a BMW M3 than an evo, its simply the nature of our society and its obsession with money and looks. Seeing as how this post reallly has nothing to do with the evo as a car (that is there is no technical discussion) I can post all I want, sorry if I'm not impressed with your stunting ways, but once again this is a public forum.
