I bought RS and iam thinking to install stock radio/cd player from another evo,
what do ii need to make it to work.

cd player and front rear speakers, what else? amp? any additional wires?

 

Stock Get an alpine or something that plays MP3's. I believe it's 60watts per speaker vs the 5 or 10watts on the stock system. Make sure to get a wire harness with the head unit and speakers. Takes about half an hour to install the speakers and everything.

For the rear go to the trunk and take a screwdriver and unscrew 3 screws. That will remove the plastic cover on the rear dash where your speakers go. The rear speaker should take 5 mins to install if your car is prewired and you bought the harness for the speakers. Plug and play. You wont' belive how easy it is. Do it yourself

 

Ive noticed that there are wires attached to plastic cover where radio goes in, yep ill just get aftermarket one with mp3 I dont care if its used and get some speakers.

I will get one from ebay 26bux shipped. I want stock one for now, later on i will change to mp3 without radio you can go nuts! but thx for the offer.

 

the stock one will play MP3 on burnt cd's. or at least i think mine did.
