That stinks. You need a motion sensor and a bright light to scare those a$$es away. I had somebody break into one of my old cars, they didn't take anything, they just switched my plug wires around. It took me 15 minutes to figure out it was the wires and fix them, and then I drove to a auto glass shop and got the window fixed the same day. It did suck though, but it's not that uncommon. I had two more vandalism events on a GTI that I had.

Same thing happened to me tuesday. made off with alpine headunit and destroyed my dash and interior door on drivers side. I feel your pain. Stole my stuff in broad daylight at my work place.

to the dude who started this: sorry to hear about your car but thats what insurance is for (and yes i know that if the window is the only thing broke the cost to replace it prolly wont reach your deductable, but **** happens. it has happened to me before too, only they stole 2000 dollars in stereo equipment and insurnace refused to pay for it. so i got screwed once too).

A few years my GN was stolen right off my driveway, The thief/s broke the window, and rolled it away. (Exhaust was wide open with a dump tube) and rolled it to where they could start it. I never saw it again. I had a German Shepard who would bark if he heard a pin drop, he never made a peep.

 

damnn.. that sucks man. good thing they didnt beat up the car since they didnt what they were looking for.

 

had mine smashed a few weeks ago and all they took was my a pillar. Cost about $115 for a new window installed at a local glass/tint shop.
