Hey guys, ive got an 05 with 3000 miles on it and im getting what sounds like a bad strut thunking. just the driver side front. It started when i came to a hard stop at a light and then it does it when i turn the wheel? anyone else getting this problem? i took it in to the dealer and they said nothing is wrong with the suspention? go figure Just getting some ideas since i have to do it myself. thanx billy

 

we have a decently big thread going on about the elusive suspension clunk. i thought that mine was shock/strut related, but many think it is the spring coming off of the seat and then settling again. it was drving me mad until i found out a whole bunch of other owners had the same problem. seemed to happen more when it was cold outside. search for suspension clunk and see what you can find. i installed tein springs and the problem has since stopped. good luck.

 

check your strut bolts. i broke mine and only got this clunk when i turned. but im running tein s tech springs with oem struts. hit a pot hole and broke one bolt and bent another. check that and see? lots of construction in jacksonville fl.
