First time I saw one in person was leaving Narita heading into Tokyo. I was looking out the window for cars and the first one I saw was a white Evo.

 

back in 1998, i was in japan at the time, i fell in love with the Evo 5, so i bought one... had to sell it last year when i came to the u.s. so i bought an 05 RS...

 

I have a question... how does your 05 RS compare performace wise to your EVO 5? I've always been interested in how the USDM models compare to the JDM ones (even the older versions)...

 

i saw a silver one first day out to dealder ships, i was in my gf's prelude, and my cousin was in his DSM...he reved on my cousin, but i was ike eeeeevvvooooo....then my girl started yelling at me

I tottaly falled in love with the Evo since

 

my first evo siting was when i was driving down the highway in my 2g talon ........and i just had to give him a go and even with my slightly modded tsi the stock silver evo still managed to pretty much destroy me then i was pissed so i decided to go get an evo and ending up doing so about 2 months later........i had my dealership go all the way up to new york from where i live in PA to get me my white rs! And im loving every minute of it and every cent i spend on it.....

 

2002, I was in Japan walking down the street with my dad and my two friends talking about which car to get when I turned 16. Almost as if on cue a white and red evo VII tears down the street, first time I ever saw one in person. My friend jon says to my dad sarcasticly "Why don't you just get an evo?". Two years later that's exactly what we did. Tarmac black for life.

 

Been seeing Evos for a long time. When I was younger I know a friends brother had an Evo III but I wasn't interested back then, it was just a car with a big wing to me.
Then later when I got into cars it all changed . I remember when I was about 17 I saw a White Evo IV in my home town and I couldn't believe it. First Evo to really stick in my mind, over here everyone has 92ish GSR's with the body kits etc. but this Evo 4 just stood out like crazy. Wanted one ever since. I also remember seeing a FQ300 for the first time about 3-4 months ago on the motorway then I did a little research and discovered I could afford a JDM Evo 8 so I started searching. Been a estatic owner for about 6 weeks now Well its been in the shop for the past 3 weeks since that guy crashed into me so not that estatic. I'm going crazy waiting for it to come back Called the shop yesterday they are STILL waiting for parts to come in......

 

I saw the evo 8 in the magazines but I didn't like them. One day on a trip, I passed a transportation truck with 10 diffrent color evos on it and thats when I fell in love with it. I must of follow it for miles until the truck exited. After that I bought one and was the first person to own it in my city. I met a couple of guys that bought an evo admited that I was the influence that made the buy one.

6 or 7 years ago in a jackie chan movie. White lancer 5 or 6 i guess. Tried looking it up on the net, nothing. Did searches finally found 2 black pictures of an evo 6. Fell in love.

 

i had definitely heard about the evo before.. bur first time i saw one was on the dealership lot.. they had like 4... test drove the lighting yellow evo 8.. took it home later that night

 

first knew about it back in 2000 when it was only the VI. Tracked it ever since then. Found out it was coming here to the US...flipped out. Saw my first one on the highway in my city, it was blue, and I wanted one sooooooooo bad...

So I graduated, got a job, a month later got my own.

 

lol GT3 since then ive been an evo adict!

lol to this day everytime i see one i just start screaming and yelling like LOOK ITS AN EVO LOOK it pisses my parents off.
