Winshield washer fluid is 50% methanol...using this alone you can run 25psi without an intercooler....that and it actually cleans your motor.

I have a big *** FMIC ....the biggest I can get on my 98 GSX....but the water injection is definately the top dog of intercooling.
normally how fast would you go thru a bottle of the NX? I don't use smurff ****, so i can't relate.

I have never used the CO2 chiller. I dont know the average fog time on a 10lb bottle but I know the results wont be as good as H2O injection. I have run my car in zub zero temps and still had knock. There is only soo much an intercooler can do to fast moving air. With water injection you actually inject the mixture into the air stream and it normally gets converted to steam in the combustion chamber. This dramatically helps intercooling.

On a side note. If I was considering a CO2 kit I would instead just get a nitrous kit. If you have the cash to pay for refills you might as well just go with a known proven power maker and intercooler. A 35 shot of nitrous on a turbo car practically gives you 50HP in gains due to the intercooling affect of nitrous.

I am forgetting that some of you may be looking for a cooling solution for a road course. In that case nitrous wont work and in that case I would definately go with H2O. Not sure why you would consider CO2 if H2O does it all and then some.

The only reason I can think of to not use H2O is if you cannot tune your car - read - remove fuel no longer needed to cool the intake charge.

I have the www.snowperformance.net stage 2 kit.
