lol...same here. What was worse is that I had the most boring job ever at the time. I would go out and smoke in the parking garage just so I could see the car again.

Now I don't even drive it to work anymore. It just sits in my garage until the weekend

Break the car in properly. dont rev past 3k. for 1000miles. And she will take care of you later. THEN LET THE MODDING BEGIN.

Wow, 1000 miles....really?
The car sits around 3k at 70mph on the interstate....how do you not rev above 3k for 1000 miles?

Anyone else have similar advice?

I got my '05 a couple of weaks ago (tarmac black also) I have a little over 600 miles on her right now and if anyone can do that break-in period crap they have more restraint than me.
the only advice I have is to take it easy on the winter roads, the advans just aren't made for our midwest weather.
