car and insurance are in my name alone / 1 car policy

 

Between progressive and geico, which one do you guys think is better? Im paying a huge premium because I had a 3month gap of no insurance, but I had full coverage since 2003. That gap caused a huge mess with my premium and now I have to start over with my insurance record. Im about to hit 25, and have no tickets, good driver, and I am paying over 3k a year with progressive.

I called allstate, and they want freaking 6k a year, originally they didnt know about my 3 month time of no insurance and they asked for 1200 a year, which was so awesome but once they checked with geico that I didnt have insurance for a few months, they booted me

Why do they have to make it tough for good drivers? This really sucks I like allstate because I have home insurance with them but why the ****ed up treatment for the auto insurance. Do you think it would be better if I went through a broker instead of callng direct? Or will corporate change my rate if the broker gets it cheaper for me once I am signed up with them?

Oh well, I guess I'll shop around some more today. So far progressive dont care if Im 25 or not, and wont lower my rate. I thought that was the magic number ((

How long did you have state farm for?

 

I've had it since I been driving...around 4 years or so I guess.

 

IC I guess thats going to be a problem for me for the next couple of yrs, HIGH INSURANCE PREMIUMS I need to win the lottery or somethin

21 and pay $112.00 a month with State Farm full coverage with a 250 deductable..no tickets on liscense

USAA is hard to beat. 26, married, no tickets for the past 4 years (hard to speed when deployed)

 

Have you done any claims with USAA? Any problems with them?

damn, 79 a month, thats rediculous...I'm sure they have a multi car discount and being married with no tickets is always a help...

 

22, single, PA. $165/month through progressive. Had a bunch of tickets before, but they are all off my record now.
