A pillar gauge pods are too heavy

Is anyone else having this problem? I have dual a pillar pods and after about a month its starting to get loose. It doesnt fall off but it wont stay secure tightly as it should. Everytime I pop it in it stays but after a 1 mile or so it gets loose again,. Its securely double sided taped to the factory pod but the problem is the factory pod is not hold too well due to the extra weight added. Anything I can do the the factory pod inserts or tabs?

I did the same thing. Just used the holes that came in the aftermarket pod. Right through the stock a-pillar. Did this after wrestling it for a month. Haven't had a problem since. Double sided tape sucks and hot glue sucks, cuz it gets so hot in the car. Don't be afraid to cut or drill. Things "usually" turn out better when you introduce power tools.
