nice 9 minute clip - great find

what i was able to get from the video
- the biggest difference from the 8 is the mivec engine in the 9. which gives more torque. power will come around 3k rpm on the 9 while it was around 4k on the 8
- even in bad driving conditions the 9 is better than the 8. acd + the rear wheel ayc
- the driver drives the 8 , while in the 9 its the car doing more of the work

I have now officially seen every color of the Evo IX except the one I want the most...BLACK! I must say though, it looks really nice in that electric blue. None the less, why dont they ever have a black prototype ?

i wouldnt trade it in.. too much money lost. But if I didn't already have one, I'd wait for the 9. I like the squared off bumpers better. MIVEC too. 6 spd. possible bilsteins. Newer tech is usually better. Possibly would lose the HIDs (like the 05s?) due to price. I love my HIDs. I really do like the rear bumper .. the slight vertical edge to it looks nice when the light hits it right.. but I methinks it wont make it to the US untouched. It looks too small/short to cover the US bumper beam.

Did the guy say 'ano..' at all? Seems to be similar to 'uhhh'.. at least whenever I am in Japan I hear it all the time

They do! at least in LA and the Bay Area. But trust me i'm in Japanese 3 right now and I still have no clue what he is saying, I can only understand few nouns and verbs here and there in the vid haha
