sold sti got evo!

whats up fella's, my name is jason, and i'm a little new here! i had an sti and just recently sold it to evodave(whom i'm sure you guy's know) and i bought his evo!!!and i'm happy to say this thing is fokking ridiculous!!! don't get me wrong i loved the sti but this car is on a diffrent planet.
i just took it up to switzer performance in elyria, ohio and had it tuned. before it was tuned for a buscher 500 turbo w/ 660 injectors by turbotrix, and was not running to healthy to say the least. considering i have a gt35r w/ 880 injectors and an aem ems on it now. turbotrix had the timing so advanced(30degrees) we were suprised it didn't come apart! the only thing keeping it together was that it was running very rich. well, tim sorted all that out and now the car runs like a raped date! i was able to break all 4 loose in second gear!, remember this thing has 9.5 inch gram lights at the corners w/ avan ao32r's, so i know she's making good power. i can't wait to get some race gas in her and up the boost a few psi for the mitsu/subaru shootout at norwalk on the 15th of april. i'll also have it dyno'd by the middle of next month, and post some numbers and time's for all to see.
now the only thing to do is start saving up for some rods and pistons so the fun can really start.
well, thanks to listening to me babble, i'm still pretty excited about getting the car if you can't tell, and i just wanted to introduce myself.

I have never in my life ran that much timing on an evo... i dont run half that timing on race gas. I'd love to see the map of the so called car i tuned with 30 deg timing.

Turbotrix

mark, i'm just saying what i was told. the ecu was bought used from another evo that had a buscher 500 turbo with 660 injectors. i was "told" that it had a turbotrix tune on it. wether it did or didn't we'll never know. sorry man, i'm not trying to point fingers!!!!! i did see the map though and there was a dangerous amount of timing. i know it's not your fault, the tune was for a completely diffrent setup altogether, not for a gt35r w/880's and a ems......

anyways, thanks for all the support guys, i'm sure you'll be hearing from me quite a bit..... i'll post some numbers as soon as i can. as for evodave and the sti, i think he's selling it and getting another evo, so worry not!!!!

later.....
