does anyone know how hard or soft the spring should be on the turbosmart BOV?, if I also have an injen intake if that makes any difference?thanks in advance.

 

I've got the turbosmart dual port BOV, but no other mods. I've been running it close to all the way hard. The lowest you could have it with not much idling trouble is probably 2/3 hard, but no lower than half. It's very loud isn't it?

 

on my mr i can run it all the way out without idle problems, but i have mine about 3 3\4 to 4 turns off of all the way tight. i also modded mine and glued a golf ball in the horn sounds awesome now. no more hollow sound.

On the Dual Port, you should have it as light as possible, without having the fluttering noise when on full load. You can expect the fluttering noise on light loads, that is normal and harmless.

 

I just got this bov and could use some more help.

When you rotate this bov so far you feel clicks. How many clicks can you go? Or have I gone to far?
