Ok, Im looking at my car and I notice my rear left rim is Dented. It looked like someone took a crowbar and tried to seperate my rim from my tire, its dented very noticeably as well as scratched up!!!, who the **** would do this? Im pretty sure this happend in the last couple days. Also the side of my tire right next to the huge dent is cracked/ sliced, looked like some ram into my rim or something the rest of the car is Fine. This is strange and I am pissssssssssed.

to make it worse, I look at my other rims and i notice there are paint chips all over the place especially on the outter parts on 3 of my rims, WTF is going on? does winter salts do this to your rims?? I know the dent is obviously not caused by winter, but what about all these paint chips?????

man.. i think someone has reallly been trynna get at your rims! ur in queens too.. so we know the possibility

BBS rims just dont bend that easily.. one of the strongest on the market. and salt can be a factor.. but it's just odd that your all dented up like that

to add to that..... if you ran a pothole.. (NYC pot holes are the WORST in USA!) your Front rim will catch the most hell and the back would bend little or none. right here.. only ur rear is messed up. thass why i think someone is trying to beat you for your rims.

 

did you have winter tires mounted

 

You get your tires changed? I know some shops have messed up peoples rims because they are not taking their time to mount and dismount the tires to the wheels. Winter salt will chip the rims I have a couple of chips on my enkies from the winter. I'm glad spring is here.

 

that's why i don't get fancy crap for my car.

all goes into the engine where nobody can see it or be interested.

cause whoever gets into my engine bay later on would be someone I know.

Of course people I know will never do that to me. they're good people.

 

Yea I put on all seasons tires but there was no dent after, definitely not from the shop, I just snapped a pic of the dent and u can also see some of the chips, I just wiped it with a napkin and looked at ALL my rims have chips on them. I washed my car like 2 weeks ago and there were NO paint chips, 2 weeks later paint chips everywhere, I have concluded that some *******s tried to take my rims but didn't not succeed. This either happend in the city from this weeknd or last week during school QueensBorough, I know there are couple other EVOs around there, so be careful.

either you hit a huge pothole or your car was just randomly vandalized......

I didnt curb it thats for sure, It could be a pothole....but how do you explain all them paint chips on the outter edges on aLL my rims......plus there are even chips in the cracks between the RIm and Tire, seemed like someone stuck something in between,

Yea I didn't think there was ppl out there dumb enough to try to take rims in that manner, even if they weren't its more ***ed up that they just did it to mess it up.

 

Looks like a vicious pothole got you! I hope so anyways cuz I would hate the uneasy feeling of somebody messing with my ride.
