Anybody hear anything about rebates on the evo. I just got in from work and read in the paper the local dealer has two 05 evo's normally 34,414 on sale after rebate for 29,980. Im assuming they have the sound and leather package stickering for 34k. Maybe the "after rebate" is just sales jargon but the price seems good.

 

There's no way that these could come with the SSL package. The '05 GSR invoice price is about 29K. SSL invoice is about $2800. I don't see how they could sell an '05 with SSL for less than 31.5K, unless the dealer holdbacks are really that big (and they're willing to give it up). My guess is that they're just normal 8's with no goodies. Not a bad price, though, for that.

 

That's a big price jump from 03. I bought mine for invoice $27k. Then again I guess the change is equal to $1k a year, but that is still a big jump.
