It's a Do-Luck ............

http://lancerregister.com/showthread...fq400+splitter

You can buy one from www.Gruppe-S.com

FYI. The FQ-series are basically prepared by specialist tuning shops in the UK using aftermarket parts (particularly HKS) and are warrantied by CCC (Colt Car Company) the people who import the cars from Japan. They are not strictly Mitsubishi designed/developed cars.

Here's some info. on the parts used on the FQ400 and the people who did the work:

I didn't say Ralliart are aftermarket...just that the UK "FQ" series are not factory cars. And they're certainly not JDM! The FQ cars get shipped to the UK as regular Evos. Certain dealers convert the cars to various FQ specs using a variety of Ralliart and aftermarket parts (notably HKS). These are in no way "factory" cars.

Not quite. STi is a subsidiary of Subaru...much like the M Division is a subsidiary of BMW. Ralliart, by contrast, is an independent company run out of the UK. Like Lotus, they offer engineering expertise to various manufacturers, prepare race cars, and design parts. They're not even on the same continent as Mitsu! Sure, they supply parts and tuning expertise to Mitsu under contract...but that doesn't make them part of the company. It's like saying ProDrive is the tuning arm of Subaru. That's not the case at all.

That's just not true. Mitsu sells Ralliart parts through some of their dealers, but they aren't "JDM and OEM" parts at all. You can buy Dinan or AC Schnitzer parts at any BMW dealership in North America. That doesn't make a set of AC Schnitzer wheels or a Dinan turbocharger "OEM" parts.

Actually, Ralliart are the FACTORY tuning division of Mitsubishi. It is identical to how NISMO is to Nissan, TRD is to Toyota, Suzuki Sport is to Suzuki, MazdaSpeed is to Mazda, Mugen is to Honda. These firms are all distributed worldwide through one official distributor, but the companies themselves are in fact owned by the parent car producing companies.

Ralliart is not a UK company at all. At once point, they had a UK distributor, but that relationship ended 2 years ago.....Ralliart has been, and remains the Japan based motorsports division for Mitsubishi

And yes, Ralliart are genuine Mitsubishi parts. While many parts are fabbed by popular Japanese companies, they remain Mitsubishi parts.

The FQ series cars are something Mitsubishi UK has done on their own as a way to be able to offer their customer base a warrantied Evo setup with a popular combination of parts. Some of these parts are made by Mitubishi themselves, some are made by outside contractors in Europe, and others are made by Japanese tuning firms with a prescence in the UK (ie HKS). So a potential customer can walk into a Mitsubishi dealer in the UK, and walk out with a car with the most popular mods, all in a comprehensive, Mitsubishi UK backed package.

Here we go, check this thread......a source for the genuine Mitsu FQ400 lip from a UK supplier.

http://lancerregister.com/showthread...threadid=73443
Looks like the genuine FQ400 lip costs around 600 pounds Sterling (close to $1200 USD) and is an inferior copy of the Do-Luck carbon fibre lip, which is available here for around $700.

You're welcome

Here's some official (UK) mitsu part numbers for various FQ400 cosmetic accessories, such as the lip, aero mirrors etc.

http://lancerregister.com/showthread...threadid=73518
BTW, Ralliart carbon fibre Aero mirrors aren't really designed for LHD Evos; you'd have to replace the glass to get the correct depth-of-field.
