Thanks-- I imagine I would. I planned on adding a CD player, etc. anyway so the usual sound deadener could be applied at that time. Kind of self-deafeating to consider an RS at all I suppose but i'm into black door handles...

It's not too bad, just throw some DynoMat in there and it quiets right down. If anybody gives you crap about "weight" just tell them that they're fat and you're not so it makes up for it....unless you are fat....errrr ummmmm...i got nothin. :P

I happen to like my weightless white with black accents, mirrors, door handles, door trim..

I adjusted to road noise in about 1 hour.. I have an 05 and I havent heard any noises above any other sports car I'v driven. In fact, the second you put an exhaust on any road noise would be covered up anyway.

Yeah, mine came with Stereo plugs and radio wire, just have to add in the deck unit and put some speakers in, ready to go, and waay cheaper than a GSR.

actually, I'm thinking about this issue of noise in my RS. I have full turbo back exhaust and it's not quiet. mostly coming from trunk, may have to dynamat or spray something. any RS done this?

well that's what I thought w/ my 12" sub in my trunk first...

but, once in a while you do want some peace.

Comparing my RS is to colleagues GSR , hmmm - night and day. It's so much quieter in the GSR!!! you can hear a pin drop...

I gotta tell you when I lifted the whole carpeting in my RS I did'nt find ANY insulation on the interior floor! And of course the trunk is bare painted metal too.

But it was'nt too noisy at all when it stock! But put in an exhaust, well you'll get a front row seat to the show...
