depends on how bad you want the car, like me i figured i could have waited for the 9 but i said the hell with it. so i went and picked up an 8 and might i add one of the first electric blue in the south florida area. im happy.

 

flip a coin. let that decide for you. either car will be worth it. i don't want the 9 but i do want the head off of it.

 

The only this that is better about the evo IX is the interior, the all black interior look better. the exterior is very similar.

 

Its gonna be hard but I think I will wait for the 9...I'm curious to see how it performs with the new Mivec engine....I didn't know about the all black interior though....How long before we get it here in the States?...I appreciate all the feedback fellas...Either way 8 or 9 I can't see how I can lose....peace

 

Well, if its an '06 you should see it around September maybe a bit later. I wanna see what the crazy markups are gonna be.

i would say wait and get the evo 8, just because of the crazy mark up,
and unknown fact of the new engine, unless you want to wait for the result so long when the first modified evo 9 here.

and it's all the same in term of car, only will to 10's 1/4mile when you put enough $ into it.
handling is the same terminology~$.

 

Good things come to those who wait. Besides, wouldn't it feel good knowing you have the MIVEC and most other evos dont?

 

Yeah, MMNA are in such a strong financial position that they can demand mark-ups on the IX......anybody who pays over MSRP is seriously deranged.
