i live on the oregon coast so the hottest temp my evo will see is around 100. on the other hand in the mornings we get this cool mist/fog, of ultra thick ocean air. it lingers for a few hours most mornings and if you hit it right, (about 50-53 degrees outside) your car will run and sound like you couldnt beleive. sometimes the air is so thick that the sound of the car is actually resonating off of it, making the car sound much louder, and deeper.

Jesus christ, that much? Is it that big of an effect on every car?

Why would it hurt your Evo? It's just bringing your WHP down while the AC is on isnt it?
Sorry i'm a newb trying to understand.

yea heat+turbo does suck. my eclipse GST runs like a kia sophia with heat and a/c running. its a piece tho...when i have the a/c running and i switch gears into 2nd, if i hold my clutch in the car will cut off, but itll start right back up cuz i let go of it and it does the rolling pop clutch affect

temps @ 100F humidity @ 80% + = Evo trying to suck down air you can wear.

Alcohol injection cools the intake charge, as well as cylinder temps.

When he stated that the AC "kills" his EVO, he means it kills his WHP. It's not detrimental to the car itself.

The colder it is, the better my Evo runs. Turbos don't like hot weather, they get kinda laggy it seems...

bigger intercooler will make more turbo lag. That's what I found out. Now I need some cams.

I'll second this for CO. Evo definitely hates anything below 32*. But give me somewhere in the 40s with some humidity and it's awesome!!
