So today Im driving to work at 0430 minding my own business. I merge onto a 4 lane and there is a 3000GT behind me as I get on. They sit back there for a while then they pull up beside me. I look over and the kid in the front is giving me the finger. Then his buddy in the back decides it looks like fun and does it too. I said to myself to hell with this BS, So I drop back into 4th and I'm away.
I had to slow down because there were some cops on the other side tending to an accident. Then these morons come flying past me again with the fingers. I'm Thinking WTF do they have against me? I didnt do anything to them.
Does anyone else experience Jealously over your EVO????

 

well of course everyone WANTS a evo. sometimes they just cant have one. down here in socal, most people love evos and when they see one they give a thumbs up or something especially like the little little 6 year olds saying "daddy look! what a cool race car". Sometimes though, you encounter people like you did who are just straight jealous and are punk kids.

I wanted so bad to just floor it and leave them behind, and a few years ago I may well have. But being 430 in the morning and raining outside, I thought better of it...

kids never grow up man... it happened to me too... 3 kids in a Civic pull next to me and start giving me the finger... and like 10mins later.. a mirage came up to me and did the same thing... but i just ignore it...

 

Thats why I carry a bottle of gatorade..Oh! I meant Hatorade in the car and if they want to flip me off, i'll just splash them with the hatorade and be on my way. lol I know its mean but egh....

Yup...I got flipped off 3 times already and I only have about 4 months with the car. Jeolus people, thats all. I laugh at them

 

I've never experienced that before, but that really does prove how stupid kids really are. Just carry around a shotgun and blow out their tires if they give u any more crap. Or u could put on some strobes and flash them whenever somebody pulls **** like that.....

 

never happened to me here in so cal, but people either know what the car is or dont, most of the time i just get stares, and a waves from other lancer drivers, and people at drive throughs saying nice car

 

What gets me are Lancer drivers that won't even return a wave or thumbs up. Even WRX guys are friendlier.
