Dealership pisses me off
Dealership pisses me off
I take my car in to get fixed for the 4th gear grind, and they were like, OK OK we'll have a technican drive it and see what happens after we service the car. So I'm like Listen I'll take him out now so I can show him exactly how and when it happens. So they insist they have it under control. So I explain the situation to him and how it grinds, at what RPM, and at what MPH. So he writes the notes down and what not and I leave.
He calls me up 2 hours later says my car is ready to be picked up. So I asked him about the grind and he said the technican drove it with no problems, and he couldn't "duplicate" the sound. So I got pissed off and I told him to take it back out and try again because I'm not going to drive back and forth all the time to fix a issue caused by their **** *** company. Guy says They are too packed to do it now, and I could do it during the week and for me to pick up the car.
I dont want to drive 20 miles to pick up the car knowing I have to drive it back. So I call the guy and explain to him again in detail how to get the grind going. It only happens at high rpms from 3rd to 4th, so you have to get the RPMs up in 3rd to hear the grind to 4th. Or all he has to do is take the car to 80mph in 5th and downshift to 4th and he'll hear it as well.
So he says, technicians can't go past the speed limit or they lose their jobs. THAN HOW IN THE **** ARE YOU GOING TO DUPLICATE THE SOUND. I could drive the car like a ***** and the sound wont come out. The car needs to be taken to higher rpms before you can hear it. So I tell the guy I'll come down and drive it with the tech as shotgun. He says they are too busy and its raining. Than he explains how its driver error and how I should properly revmatch the car, and how its not a honda civic. So I tell him, listen I paided something 20 ****ing thousand dollars to get a car that works not a piece of ****. Even though he knows the problem with the 4th gear grinds from the service bulletin they are making it such a headache to fix the car.

Man, that really sux.....why the hell does it seem that mitsu doesn't give a crap about their customers, or at least the dealers don't. Just keep on their *** and eventually they'll give in. If not, call up a lwayer or something cause otherwise ur money is going to waste on a car that doesnt run well. Oh well, good luck with the tranny problem!
