I know the Evo is a fantastic car, but $600 for 7 years is downright madness.

i went through my grandfathers credit union... he got me the membership for 10 bucks. its secu credit union.... awesome people, they also use all points atm cards, so they can be used almost anywhere. they even re-financed my dad at 4% for his 2004 f-350, and hes only paying 446 for 5 years. (or something like that.) they approved him, even though he has a bankrupcy on his credit... he got approved in 30 seconds, same as me....

they have a website, i just dont have the address handy right now....

well, figure a IX for 36,000 (roughly) plus tax and plates would bring it to about 38,300. with an interest rate of 8% or so, maybe more, (ex-fiance screwed me over and I didn't know til it was too late). would bring the payments to about 596.95 for 7 years.

The IX (GSR) is gonna be like $33k.....the MR is more like $36.5k.

Just like the re-sale value of the VIII will take a hit on the launch of the IX, the IX value will take a major hit when the totally redesigned X comes out in 18 months to 2 years.

After 7 years, you're 43k car (which is what you'll have paid) will be worth $10k if you're lucky. You're better off saving up for a big downpayment or buying a decent used Evo.

I'll be looking into refinancing towards the end of the year. I just got mine in September, no money down and the payment is $496 for 7 years...I got screwed on the interest rate.
