Hey i need help guys....i just installed my helix i/c piping and my forge wastegate....i took the car for a ride and i'm driving it and when i'm driving and go into boost it gets to 5 psi and then bogs and i hear a little back fire...what do u guys think it is??? how can i check for boost leak??

 

the backfire is coming from too much gas in the a/f mixture... so it's most likely a problem with the i/c piping (not the wastegate). i'd just follow the piping from after it comes out of the turbo all the way to the throttle body, making sure every hoseclamp is tightened and all the piping is pushed as far as it can go into the hoses that connect each segment of piping, but that's just the obvious stuff, so lemme know if this fixes it
