I hope this isn't a repost...

So apparently ChevronTexaco is purchasing Unocal for 16.x billion dollars. For some reason I thought that Unocal 76 was already purchased by ConocoPhillips a while back. hmm...

So anyways, lets hope that this will improve the quality of Chevron and Texaco's gasoline and not bring down 76 gas! My hope is that Chevron will utilize 76's ProPower copyright in all its gasolines to make things better instead of shoving Techron into 76 gas and making it bad...

This affects me because it will be upsetting for my Evo if my local 76 stops carrying 100 octane at the pump.

And that's interesting about ChevronTexaco and ConocoPhillips. I guess I should have spent a few minutes researching before I posted. Thanks for the heads up
