Mesh losing paint

my problem is the mesh infront of my intercooler is loosing alot of paint. the vents on either side havent chiped or lost any at all. my question is can this be caused by driving at triple digit speeds for long periods of time? for example i drove about 50 miles yesterday and we were running late for a funeral so we averaged about 110mph for the most part of our run on the parkway. im not worried about it to much but i would like to know if anyone else has noticed this? im going to respray them after work today since its a great day. any insite on this is welcomed.

Could be your speed + distance. Ever see those gumball races? By the end of the races the paint on the front bumpers of the cars is stripped off. The rocks/sand in the air plus your speed = paint death.

I have a tarmac black and I just use the oem touch up paint stick to fill in the chipped spots and it works fine.

you BLACK evos and your EASY color matching lol....but my mesh is fine, its the intercooler that takes the pebbles. you can put pet mesh over the existing screen so it doesnt get chips. looks sleeper, but i wouldnt recommend it on a hot day at the track if you kno what i mean

man i want to take my mesh out
well in the winter really
all the snow gets stuck in there and I have to go to the outdoor carwash and use the pressure washer to get it off the intercooler

My front mesh is ok, but my hood vent is really fading fast... I'm going to touch it up with some high-heat black paint...

Mine is chipping also. Looks bad. Of course, I do triple-digit speeds too.

My grill on my bumper is all sorts of ****ed with paint missing. I'm just gonna have the detail guy or myself do it here sooner or later. I drive 80 miles a day on the highway so I have all these stupid *** trucks throwing rocks off their trucks and whatever else. I'm usually traveling about 90+.
