Remember when they tested the 2F2F cars? The VII did a blazing 14.9 1/4 mile time. I think it was because they loaded it down with ricer crap. I don't mean to be judgemental, but they do stupid stuff in those movies. I hope they won't rice the cars in this one.

BTW, why do they make the cars so flamboyant? Most "real" street racers drive Q-ships/sleepers in order to lay low and try and win some money.

 

I don't see why you all act like your not going to go see it, the cars are pimp and the driving is pimp, stop acting so cool.
Maybe the movie has one of the worst acting, but so does movies like Scary Movie or all of those movies that everyone here probably loves. Kung pow?

 

wasnt the evo VII in 2f2f cranking over 400 hp at the wheels, cant remeber how much from the bonus footage but it was high, anyway isnt the FF3 just a rumor ive been hearing about it in the "works" ever sense 2f2f came out. Hopfuly takes them long enough to put the X in it

 

I remember seeing something where it ran a 14.9. Maybe that was the Eclipse? Anyway, they did actually get some of those cars from real tuners. I probably will see it, even if it sucks. I just they would make more "real" street racing movies like Getaway and the like.

I like the Fast and the Furious movie series.. yes they are kinda cheezy and have riced out cars.. but can you imagine going to see a movie and have a bunch of rusted out sleeper CRX's racing each other. lol. If this 3rd F&F takes place in Japan I don't think it will be as riced out. To shoot in Japan they have to have done some research to see what people drive over there. Skylines, Silvia's, Altezza's, etc.. And I bet they won't be totally riced out. That would embarrass the Japanese culture. Hopefully Dom (vin diesel) will be in the 3rd. He is a great character in the 1st movie. The 2nd one disapointed me a little bit because he wasn't in it and Ludacris was. I like ludacris, but don't believe he should be an actor.

 

I hope to see some initial D action if it takes place in japan. That would be crazy.

I can't lie, I'll prolly go see it (as long as i can get in free at the local theater) but i hope they have more scenes like in the first one where they are actually installing things on the car and modding it, i thought that wasn't that bad. Just shoot Paul Walker in the face, put Vin diesel back in it and actually do something thats relevant to the "tuner" subculture...i guess?
