Better traffic here...Q about Reflash..just need quick answer

Hi!

I just need a quick clarification.

OK, the evo's on the way. It has the following performance mods:
- 3" turbo back
- Buschur intake
- MBC @ 19psi
- ported exhaust manifold
- Dynoflash reflash for those mods

When I get it I want to add a 264/272 cam setup and a Walbro fuel pump. If I send the ECU off to Dynoflash again to get it reflashed, I shouldn't need an A'pexi Super AFC, should I? I mean, it'd be NICE to have, but it's not NECESSARY, right?

Also, anyone know about the policy of $100 for each reflash? Does that carry over to a new owner, or would I have to pay the full $350 or whatever it is?

I might do that eventually, but for now I plan to run 272 intake 264 exhaust, stock cam gears, the dynoflash, and the walbro...I am still trying to figure out if I need that AFC though

You won't need a AFC. Unless you feel comfortable enough to fine tune it yourself as you mod.

I have HKS intake, downpipe, cat back, cat delete, 264's, fuel pump, and ebc and my car runs great with a custom reflash. I had a mail in before my cams and then decided to get the custom to get the most out of it. If Al is coming close to you I'd suggest to go the custom route instead, but you could always upgrade from a mail in down the road.

Good luck.

Thanks Corey...you're going to be my personal hero if you keep it up

I think I'll settle for the mail-in for now. Later on in the process I'd like to go with an AEM and have AMS tune it, but I think for what I am going to run and how I use my car (reasonable...not crazy LOL) it should be fine.

MY buddy ran a 12.2 @ 114 mph (snow tires) with the same mods I have, but with 272's and a mail in flash a couple weeks ago. I think you'll be happy.

I think I'll be happy with whatever I get I don't want to go beyond that point until I get to know the car better. Then I'll really start in if I feel the need LOL.
