Warranty Void? What do you guys think?

I will be installating an aftermarket alarm with remote start and turbo timer on my EVO. Does these TWO items void the warranty?

Please advice....

I would ask the service manager of the dealer where you take your Evo for service.

If your dealing with a reasonably fair dealership then for the most part no, however they could take issue if your car were ever to be brought in for electrical problems.

Depends on the dealer and if you claim a warranty problem that mitsu corporate would have to approve. If mitsu service reps come to look at your car before warranty work, what the dealer accepts and doesnt accept as far as mods go can change right there in an instant.

be wary, in many states it is illegal to install a remote start in a car with a manual transmission b/c you have to defeat the clutch/start interlock. Just an FYI.

Remote start might not be a problem since my dealer asked if i wanted it as a factory option. TT might be an issue. IDK, ask the dealer.
