how do you make 2 ECU's work?

how do you make 2 ECU's work?

The dealersaid I need 3 keys because they need to program it to work with the new ecu. The key needs to to be recognized by the new ecu. Is that true? If you know exactly how its done please let me know so I can explain it to the guys at

from what i understand the dealership can program the ecu with your current key that sends the siganl to the car when you start it.i remember somebody doing that here with1 ecu flashed for daily driving and the other ecu with a more aggressive flash.

nah they can just flash the ecu to work with the security lock of the keys not performance.but there is a dealership in norcal here that offers the works package but its a separate area beside the dealership.
