Megan Racing Cat Back

I know there are a few of you who have this exhaust -- my question is how does it hold up? Is this going to be an exhaust soon as winter arrives that it begins to rust? Any issues that you know of -- only information I have found is it's a good, cost-effective mod for exhaust.

I've found a cat-back for 325 -- shipped. I'm having a hard time convincing myself to get it since it's much cheaper than the rest. Any negatives to this exhaust at all?

Send BroEli a PM. I know he has this exhaust and I am sure he will tell you all about it.

I have the Megan Catback and Test Pipe, and am waiting for the Downpipe. I have had the catback and test pipe only for about a month, but so far I love it! It has a great deep tone, but not too loud or rice.

I haven't had any problems with it. It is still running great, I also know several other Evos running this catback for a while without problems. I haven't heard of anyone having problems with it at all.

I agree, stainless steel doesn't rust. So I don't think you have to worry about that.

Well I wasn't REALLY worried about rusting -- I'm more or less scratching my head on how their prices are THAT much cheaper. Sounds too good to be true, ya know? Is it all really just a name brand issue?

Great exhaust, quality is amazing for the price. It was noticeably quieter than the AMS but still provides a good sound. Jump on it for $325.......that's a great deal.

we put a full exhaust system on an evo of ours, o2 housing, down pipe, delete pipe, and cat back system. we ported and polished the turbo housing and o2 housing along with the racing exhaust manifold. holds up well with the occasional rattle from the 3" down pipe where it runs between the k-frame and one of the support bars.
