Used Evo

first post, so bear wiht me, but just curious if any of you have any gueses or estimation, about how cheap or low a 2003 evo could get down to in about 6 months? and how many miles it would have? any chances one will fall down to about 15,000 dollars? maybe it will help that the evo 9 is coming out soon? thanks alot

The lowest I've seen a 2003 Evo go down to is $22k. That's with almost 30k miles.

yeah, I have never heard of evo
prices coming anywhere near to 20K let alone 15. Maybe a damaged evo that could be fixed?

My buddy traded his in. The dealer is selling it for $25,565.00

It's an 03 White with like 24k miles on it. Slightly modded but does have a new clutch

you can get into a nice ralliart for that price, but dont count on an evo unless it has some seruous problems, or missing a couple parts.

I've been monitoring Evo and STI prices for the past two months since I'm basically a piranha waiting for sub $25,000 DEALER prices. Average 2003 Evo prices should be low $20,000 in 6 months--maybe a few lower than that from Private Sellers. If you're looking for a $15,000 Evo, however, good effin' luck. You'd be better off springin' for a WRX and putting a few mods. *No, it won't be as good as an Evo but the price you're looking for will have you waiting forever.

15k? That's like trying to find a Mini from the first year they came out for 15k... it's possible, but VERY doubtful... Unless it's a wrecked Evo, a guy here bought one for 14k and had to rebuild a lot of the front end (not the engine). Still cost him about the same for a brand new one to get a wrecked one and make it 400whp.

Talking

i dont know if i could justify myself with a used car let alone the evo. i just hate the fact that its been ragged by the previous owner. plus the new car smells alone is worth an extra 5k.
