Vandelized need advice...

Alright about a week ago I had my car parked at Wal-mart in the very back parking spot when someone took the liberty to kick the right side where it meets the headlight. This is the part right after the corner of the headlight... doing so it caused the headlight seal to break and that very night we had a typhoon it seemed and it flooded my headlight killing the HID's and the wiring. I was originally just going to have Mitsu put everything back to stock but I was thinking today. Can I do this with aftermarket parts? Is this allowed when you use your insurance?

My insurance is going to take care of everything however I was thinking today and I have a question. Being I have to get a new headlight housing and HID bulbs do I have any sharp unique alternatives to choose from? if so please recommend. if you have pics that would be even better.

Also I will have to probably replace the whole front bumper because when they kicked it it forced the right side to be bent at an akward angle and it looks like they might not be able to get it to go back according to mitsu, so again do I have any nice unique alternatives if so please recommend.

and lastly I talked them into replacing my hood because of excessive rock chips...I prefer not to go carbon fiber unless there is an option to get it painted to match my car tarmac black. recommendations please....

Lastly they have to do a little bit of body work to get the dent out, and repainting.

Is the aftermarket idea even worth the trouble and is it legal? And if anyone here can recommend a shop in DE, MD, or NJ that specializes in this I would really appreciate it

thanks so much for the help!

Only way it seems to me to get aftermarket parts is to get an estimate of the cost from your insurance, and have them write you a check. Then you go out buy your parts, and get installed where you want too. Because most body shops that get paid directly though insurance do not like using aftermarket parts, and insurance might not allow it either............ Is it worth it?...NO... If you had more damage ( ex.radiator, intercooler, etc.) than I would shoot for aftermarket parts, but I personally like the stock bumper, and if you dont like a carbon fiber hood, why do it? Only headlights you can really get are the mr's.
