Package on the BR350 includes:
2.5" mandrel bent SS downpipe with the factory style donut flange.
3" mandrel bent SS catback exhaust with Magnaflow muffler.
Deluxe upper i/c pipe, polished SS, Forged BOV.
Lightweight battery kit.
BR airfilter kit.
Ported exhaust manifold, 02 housing and turbine housing.
Re-programmed ECU.
Polished SS exhaust manifold cover.
Billet spark plug cover with BR350 logo on it and serial number.
Front fender and rear deck lid BR350 badges.

This package is available from Medina Mitsubishi. 330-722-7725 ask for Dave or Roy.

They can ship the car or you can fly into Cleveland airport and they will pick you up. You can then drive the car home.

I haven't seen a stock EVO run anywhere near 12.9's. 13.4's are what I would say are normal from a stock EVO with a good driver in the car.

Steve is a good driver. He has made less than 50 passes down the track in his lifetime and that would include all the cars he has run in. First time ever on the track in an EVO.

The factory revlimiter for launching is intact in the car and he didn't hit it launching the car. I verified this with Steve, so launch RPM's were under 5,000. The sixty foot time on the 12.61 was 1.78.

How is the factory warranty still in tact with the ECU reflash? besides that it sounds pretty good. 12.6 in the Qtr is moving!!!!!

Does that mean that all "reflashed" cars still have their factory warranty?

I know MalibuJack ran a 12.9 stock, and some other guy had a factory freak who ran a 12.7 with a whacked out wastegate actuator.

Yeah thats totally on driver, I would say 99% of stock evos will never hit a 12.9. However I could see 90 of evo drivers hitting those numbers with this setup. Honestly I have seen tons of stock evo's run. most of them never get below a 13.5, and that if they get that low.

Man, I don't think some people get it. Dave never said this was the fastest evo in the world. It's a lightly modified evo with a good driver (congrats Steve) and it ran a very nice time considering the cost. It also has the stock cat. If you got a stock evo that runs that fast, then consider yourself lucky and above all don't touch it! You've got a monster!

Why is it that when someone posts good results it has to turn into a pissing match? Personally, I think the outcome shows that the car does what it was advertised to do -- and now it's backed up in the real world, not just "internet racing". If that's not good enough for you, don't buy it. I'm sure that Dave (or any other good tuner) could swap out parts and make the car faster, but then you'd have a different set of compromises.

Sorry for the mini-rant, but some of the comments just got to me.

Steve shifted normally, lifted off the gas, shifted and then floored it again.

Comes with a stock clutch. We wanted to upgrade and Mitsubishi knows it is the weak leak and doesn't want it changed.

he said it was "worthy of factory warrenty"...not that the warrenty was guaranteed if at all...so once again, purchase at your own risk.

This WAS addressed in the original BR "sales pitch" thread.

Basically it's a modded car and Mitsu will no more warranty this special edition than they will any other aftermarket mods, done by BR, Vishnu or anyone else.

A reflash invalidates the warranty....period.

BR only offers a warranty on the parts they install and Medina will obviously not give you any hassle with the mods, so long as no problems arise through abuse/racing/auto-x etc.

If you don't expect to have the car serviced at Medina then you're at the mercy of your local dealership as far as mods and warranty goes.....or you can service it yourself.

The mods are pretty mild though, and shouldn't cause any major problems providing you treat the car right and don't abuse it.
But, your local dealer could easily flag this as a modded car with restricted or nullified warranty depending on how they feel. If you have a mod-friendly local dealer then you're probably good-to-go. If not, I'd proceed with caution.
