2005 Evo 8 first trip to the dragstrip
well all i know is that i had one of the fastest evo out there, there was one guy with tbe, cams, reflash, intake, and his best run was 13.2, with a 1.7 60' time ( but he said he had some prob with his shifter). i havent seen any evo break into the 12's around here yet, and most of the stock guys 03 to 05 evos always run 14.1-13.7. so when i ran 13.5stock i was pretty happy, and even more happy when i ran 13.15@105 with the tbe. well i guess i have to work on my shifting, i shift pretty fast but i am scared to damage the trans, on my 1st to 2nd gear shift i can hear my rear diff pop
i have to shift more smoothly if i dont want to hear it, but that means loosing time
. i think a lot of the perf has to do with air density here, yes it might be at see level but the humidity can change all that no matter the temp.
i ll do a reflash this summer so it should help

On the street, I do much more of an RPM match between gears...while I still do it quickly, it's nothing like the snap shift that causes the thunk.

lol failed physics havent u? lol
humidity is a big factor in density altitude and can decrease performance, i deal with that stuff all the time when i have to fly. i always have to take pressure altitude into consideration before taking off because it will affect the performance of the airplane on takeoffs.

it 'was' a joke but now I take offense!

if you pull the line it's a small plastic piece right inside the master on the bottom.
if i remember right the bleeder on top lines up with the line on the bottom and if
you pull the bleeder as well then you can push the restrictor out from the back of it.
i know there is a how to around somewhere. really simple though. more hassle to bleed
system when you're done than to remove the thing.

well the track is in top shape, and the staff very well trainned and clean the track regularly, so i guess that y it one of the best here in florida. well i think the bad times have to do not only with the track or altitude density, the drivers is the biggest factor is this equasion

that is possible, one time the clock got messed up, a stock srt-4 ran a 11.6 @ 96mph
but that happend only once.
