road speed and bhp

Since road speed should affect intercooler efficiency does it in turn affect engine power output in a turbocharged bu not a N/A car? Just curious.

I think the reason no one answers is that no one really knows for sure. I suppose it's possible to get slightly more power, but that will also depend on ambient temperature and boost levels.

If I'm thinking straight the turbo car should gain power with road speed but not the N/A. Right? Should also lead to underrated dyno results for turbo engine since air flow remains constant on static dyno.

the only way a n/a car will gain from road speed is having a cold air intake..

Picking up speed increases power by such a neglible amount that unless it's really cold where you live you won't see a difference. That's why most dyno's run fans, and ice over the intercooler if they are going for high peak numbers.

Yep, but it's the same as the post above, it's not gonna matter unless it's really cold out... But you will gain power if it's cold out, that's why we post temps of dynodays
At 30 degrees you're gonna have more power than at 100 degrees...
