I have the Turbo XS one, its a tad smaller then the perrin front mount. I like it no problems with it, and noticble difference on stock piping

Just saw this post.

I got my TurboXS FMIC about a month ago or so. I got around a 1psi pressure drop when I installed the IC. I also installed the Helix IC pipes at the same time though. When installing the IC I had to trim the bumper cover a tad to get the front bolts back on. I also couldn't put the undertray back on. Here's a thread I started with a few pics. New Intercooler & IC Pipes

Hey man, u should also look into the greddy front mount and the injen as well. I think they both come with the lower intercooler piping. Might save u a little $$ if u plan on upgrading the piping. And when the hell did u become a moderator? Better yet, how do u become a mod?

Damn newbie mods.

I think you should hold out for the Buschur. I think it was Al that test a bunch and Buschur's was the best. (don't think AMS was in the test)

hahaha real sweet! jk i dont know i searched really couldnt find much on intercoolers i know the neisge (SP?) and buschur are supposed to b almost identical in dyno numbers etc.... but i have a chance for a CHEAP turbo xs and wondering if its worth it or just hold out for a buschur since the fmic doesnt really need to be upgraded till the turbo....

Does anyone know what the pressure drop is on the Turbo XS?
I know there is a comparison thread around here somewhere. I think some of these manufacturers just make one that fits without much concern for function. We know that is not the case with Buschur, AMS and it appears the Nisei (sp?).
I think it's time for another comparo.

I was between the Buschur and the TurboXS. I picked TurboXS and I couldn't be happier.

How did you guys mount the top mount?

Is there some type of L bracket included with it?
