i can't wait until my cheap g-bay rear bar gets here to post up how good it feels

 

I have used those EBAY bars on all of my cars.....however....most of my cars were hatchbacks. (probe, eclipse, CRX) They have always worked wonders. Thats not to say a solid bar wouldn't be better but any improvement from a $15 purchase is money well spent.

The only things I am critical of is whether or not an otherwise stock EVO would see any noticable gains from any RSTB.

The ebay Tower bar sucks. A guy I kno bought one. It is so flimsy they won't even do what it is suppse to do. It bends so easy. But if you want towelbars, go for it!

i want it with rear sway bar to increase handling.

i do not want this kinda ebay strut tower brace as shown on the pic

 

I thought about buying an Ebay rear strut bar, but after seeing how it looks, I decided not to get one, b/c the way brackets were designed. It's not a flat piece from bracket to bracket and w/ pivot points, makes the bar weak.

I think this would be a waste of time on my RS considering I have a MOMO trunk bar from the factory. But, it might make the struts more rigid....

BTW... eBay DOESN'T MAKE CAR PARTS!

What brand did you get?

 

I bought one from ebay, once i saw it i decided to sell it, it was crap

 

this one looks like it won't bend that easy if it will bend at all
$12 bar will not probably be up to the task but $30 most probably will,
to be honest that's how much a reinforcing piece of metal should cost.
