Opinions Please on Apexi intake and Greddy BOV?
I just got a Greddy BOV and Apexi power intake for my 2005 RS. Can I exspect good results out of these parts performance wise and sound wise. Any experiences with these parts please explain. Thanks
it is a must... 2 springs will make your idle rough and many stalling issues, trust me from first hand experience and tons of other ppl as well. and make sure you put some teflon tape on the top adjusting screw...heres a great how to and explanation...

theres only a select few who don't have issues with both springs in..but the majority have stalling problems big time with both springs... my suggestion then..try without any mods..and if have stalling issues, then do the single spring mod
I will try it with both first then if it stalls I will take it off and fix it. What about the Apexi intake? Do you feel this is a good filter? Does it make some good gains and sounds?

Sounds? well as far as sound, any aftermarket open filter intake will make the turbo spool sound MUCH more defined and your BOV louder than stock airbox...and of course intakes gain a few hp
if you go further as in cat back and boost controller, you should deffinetly go for a mail in ECU flash to smooth all things out and make everything perform to its fullest benefits. Have fun!

You 'll love the sound of the Apexi, plus its a dry filter so no oil to coat and no oil on you MAF. Its been proven to not only out flow other filters but has just as good filtration as the Blitz filter. HKS has decent flow but terrible filtration hence the good power gains.
