need help shipping my evo

i have an EVO that is in Dallas, TX (75019) and i need it shipped to San Mateo, CA (94002). The best quotes i have got are about $825 and my car will be in transit for 2-3 weeks!!! that seems a little bit much. Is there anyone who has the hookup on this or can help me out?

Thanks Bruce

When I was bought my car back in sept 03, I has a big problem finding a shipper. It was located in Iowa. I could not get any one so I drove it. 24hours and three speeding tickets I was back in NYC. DRIVE IT!

Fly down there for $200-300 and drive it back.

Total Est. Time: 27 hours, 5 minutes
Total Est. Distance: 1713.46 miles

That's doing the speed limit. We know that isn't happening once you hop into it. :P

So subtract 5-10 hours off of it, lol.

Price for shipping seems about right. Ive heard of people shipping cars from Cali to here in MI and spending WELL over a grand. 2-3 weeks, however, seems high to me. I dont recall timing being mentioned from the examples I head of....but I would have thought a week, max.

yeah, i say bite the bullet and take that offer. you might be able to save a bit more, actually, but it's not gonna be extravagent. but then again, somethings better than nothing. some people want $500 from LA to SF. or $100 from LA to Long Beach.

you might get it sooner than they state, too. it's probably a first come first serve type of thing, so you never know. they just say that to be safe.

Hi,
Try Mc Nutt transport. I have used them before and they were reasonably priced and provided quick service. Phone Number is 1-800-755-2324
