I've had both the Turbosmart and the Greddy. I recommend the Greddy with the single spring mod. Didn't have any stalling issues like I did with the Turbosmart.

It seems like every1's BOV is breaking or etc. My blow off valve litterally just unscrewed itself (TurboXS H-34 VTA) and was hanging by its vacuum line! Damn it felt embarassing to be on the side of the road with my hazards on Meacham Rd by Motorola. Anyways my blow off valve comes tomorrow too! I got the Greddy Type S BOV and am eager to install it, because right now i'm running stock and that plastic bypass valve just doesn't make it my car anymore. So yea i'll tell you how the Greddy Type S, but what from what i've heard its flawless and won't let you down. Plus you aren't too far from me so i'll probably see you on the road someday.

Oh Yea by the way: The best price for the Greddy BOV is Extremepsi.com ($210 Shipped) and it only takes 2 business days for it to come because they're in PA, and there's also EvoMoto.com which is selling it for ($209.95 plus $1 for shipping). The funny thing is that they just changed their price from 240 to 210 practically today! Well good luck!

Location still IL?

We have a Meacham Rd near Motorola here in Fort Worth, TX too. Another Asian guy with 03 White Evo too. Let me know how you BOV is coming along when you get it. I'm trying to hunt down an used BOV off of a G1 DSM... still researching.

Got my BOV on yesterday and installation was very simple, thanks to evomoto.com installation guide, and just the simplicity of it. The sound of the BOV isnt as loud as i anticipated it to be, but i'm kinda digging the subtleness of it. No leakage, and performs great. My car seems a bit faster tho, maybe i'm retarded but it feels like it pulls harder when its up at the 5000rpm range. Maybe it's holding the boost better than my other valves. A very good buy, and i would highly reccommend it to anyone who wants a good BOV (recirc)! For those of you in the IL area and want to see it in person reply to me and I'll be happy to show you.

I have never had a problem with the Turbosmart Dual Port, and I have had it on several different MAF cars. If it is causing a stall, the user needs to adjust the BOV and make sure that the BOV is using a dedicated vacuum line with nothing else on it.

I have had my turbosmart dual port bov for about 7 months now, not one single problem with it, I have it recirculating more than venting, but it still sounds awesome! I had a greddy type s on my crx, never had a problem with it either, just a matter of taste I guess. Good luck on your desicion!!
