heres my question.
lets say i was to trade in my 05 Evo VIII GSR or a 06 Evo VIII GSR and i owe $25,000.00 at the time. Now when I go to do a trade in and the dealer says they will give me $21,000.00 for my car does the other $4,000.00 go into my payments or is there more to it then that? please enlighten me as to i have a enquiring mind on this matter.

You can either pay the other 4k then so that way you break even on the trade in (IMO, the best option).
When you get the '06, they can make your loan so it's another 4k and you would have to pay interest on that as well. I.E., a 30k car would be a 34k car.

no problem, a good place to do some research if you want is edmunds.com, they do a good job explaining stuff.

Can I just ask why you would trade for a year newer, and spend a ton more money?
im not trading i was just using my car for the example. if i did like it that much more i would probably just buy it and own both due to the fact that it would cost almost as much to trade my 05 in.
