why would u even acknowledge him by looking at him? just ignore anyone who tries to annoy you and drive at your own pace.....btw, there really are lots of domestic racers in Chicago area

 

I just got home today from visiting Chicago. That city has some of the WORST traffic / roads / drivers I have ever seen, and what would seem like no law enforcement whatsoever on its highways. For some reason the Chicagoans (?) think they need to go 35 mph all the time on their freeways, and the exit tolls that only accept coins are rediculous. Great city, but terrible to drive in. I spotted a LY evo in the heart of the city and a WW on lake and milwaukee. No crazy cobra drivers trying to race our buick le sabre rent a car though .

 

its not a 60's car they handle well and would own an evo, gti, srt, sti in about anything..

 

Dude, im sorry, but a cobra would suck hard on a road course compared to an EVO or STi.....they are pretty much drag cars and weren't really engineered to handle really well. C'mon, lets be realitic: 390 HP V8 supercharged, RWD, 3,900 LBS (estimating weight)......that kind of car is meant for straight lines. It would take a serious suspension set up to handle the corners. Im sure a modded up cobra could catch up t an EVO/STi in the straight aways, but would fall behind on the turns

And sorry to go off topic, but was anyone driving a apex silver EVO at the Glen today.....saw a young guy pull into the parking garage and walk out with his g/f.....think he walked into Dick's sporting goods (im not stalking, by the way) Just wondering if that person is on the evoM forums!

 

I had a family member that worked for Rouche and was shipped down to Bondurant to tune Cobra suspensions so they'd handle better.

The problem is, in lieu of replacing the whole stock suspension, these thing handle like trash, and no amount of tuning of the stock suspension can really fix this problem.

 

lol rlazer- that was me. I was driving the dirty silver evo and i was wearing a gray shirt and jeans and i was with my gf who is about 5'4" and has brown hair. Is that who you saw? Where were you? Were you in your evo, because i didnt see one there, however i have seen you driving around in your evo before
