you'll be lucky to pay 1800 for something like that. i took a rear bumper hit last winter, and it kinda shifted my bumper cover about an inch or two down, tearing nuts and bolts. the total bill with new bumper cover, styrofoam insert, paint, dent pulling, rack aligning, came up to approximately 3400.

and about people dragging your car? i've witnessed things like this happen; some 60-70 year old lady, maybe older, hit some guys car in a parking lot alot like yours, at a grocery store. she was busted, and at first, she thought she had only ran over a speed bump. then she saw the damage and claimed that someone must have hit her car. funny old lady; she even stated that someone probably just stole her car and took it for a joy ride while she was shopping, then returned the car right back to it's spot, thinking she wouldn't notice. hahaha

but aorry about your car.

yea i thought it might be intentional, but it was in the middle of the day, and the car was in the middle of the lot. The lot is surrounded by streets on all sides. Its a small lot maybe 20 cars across. If they did it on purpose they definatly got some *****.

u really should check if there are CCTV or security cameras around the place that could see the car who hit you then sue them for hit and run and then some economical losses blah blah blah.

damage came out to something around the area of 3-4gs. Getting a new rear door, new 1/4 panel, new rear bumper. I went back to the parking lot yesterday, no cameras.
