There are only a few Evolution police cars from what I've heard. Maintenance under constant driving conditions is too costly for them. Still, it makes a guy wanna become a cop.

That's from the U.K.. They are occasionally are GIVEN (probably with maintenance included) hot cars by the manufacturer to get publicity for both the police and the company. They have had M3's, Porsches etc.
