Never thought id be posting this....
Id say its definitly fixable. My car was damaged in a similar fashion including unibody damage, 3mm out according to the body shop. All said and done it was around 14 k to get it fixed. If you can believe the single most expensive part was the headlight, almost $1300.
Ill post some pics of the carnage if I can find any. BTW..the car drives like it did the day I drove it off the lot.
Do some research and find the best body shop in your area and you should be good to go.

as you already know you have unibody frame damage of the left apron!
as specified by dot that vehicle may no longer be safe for public highways!
yes it can be fixed easily! you on the other hand can refuse it when it is fixed if fixed under full coverage and get a full payout from your insurance company! if you want!
they will then sell it to someone else, but you will not have a frame car to deal with!
let it be known that frame damage drastically reduces the value of a vehicle by atleast 35%
i would never acceps one after it is fixed! wrecked my 97 accord and refused it after it was fixed! got a check in-hand, paid it off and kept the change at the time!

it depends on the extent of the frame damage if it will hurt the value of the car, I had 9k in damage to my front end with minor frame damage, and i did my research and found a great body shop that did a 100% great job. drives A1. and the value of my car is still the same as a non-wrecked evo on carfax even though it shows my damage. My insuirance says its very technical on the extent of the frame damage is on the effect it will have on your cars value. Its all up to you. make the right choice, cause either way, you'll have to deal with the consequences either way it goes
good luck
good luck
definitely keep the cash out option open. No matter how much you like the car there's always another EVO you can get.
Couple things I noticed in the pictures which the others haven't mentioned yet. 1. Seems like you got it towed on a regular tow truck and not a flat bed. If that's the case then the differentials/AWD may be damaged 2. Your left front tire is bald from the sides and the tires look wet. Did the bad tires have anything to do with the accident?

I really do hope they can fix her and have her driving as good as she was before. Even if she does have frame damage. I never knew about the value going down by 35%, but I'm not really worried about that, because like I said this car is my baby and I do plan on having her for as long as I live and possibly pass her down to my son.
As for the shop I have no idea on how good their work is, but they are certified and guarantee the work for as long as I own the car. Progressive gave me a list to choose from. So I just chose the cleanest looking one and the closest one to my house so I can check on her progress about 3 times a day.
Also if you guys who had wrecked Evos share some before and after pic i'd appreciate it. Thanx

mine was very similar...drove over an invisible median at about 45 passenger side suspension/axle was just like your drivers side two of my wheels had big tears hanging off and all 4 wheels/tires had to be replaced. very slight frame movement. total $18k

The car was definetley towed own a flat bed. I made sure of that.
I don't know man, I hope it's repairable if that's what you want. IF it isn't, my insurance gave me the option of keeping the car (to part out) OR getting paid the value of the car. They gave me a check for $27,000. I'm just warning you that parting it out may not be as profitable as just letting them cover the car if it comes to that. But good luck with everything.

Got some good news today. Insurance just called and told me she's okay has no major mechnical defects mostly cosmetic and will be repaired, but they're still waiting for approval. Once the approval goes through they'll start fixing my baby up.Estimate so far is $11,595.

and poor Evo overall, of course. Hope you can get it fixed. Frame damage doesn't always equal totalled. Depends on how badly its bent up.
